Introduction:

International Collectors’ Society of Rare Items was formed in 1995. Society is proud to have 1 GUNNESS BOOK OF RECORDS Holder and 29 members listed in Prestigious LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS

Our Society is the only organisation having its own 100 DISPLAY frames and was awarded LIMCA RECORD for having 100 different collectors under one roof.

Society has five publications on Stamps & Coins. In accordance with the Society’s motto “KNOWLEDGE THROUGH HOBBIES” and to encourage the hobby of collection, especially for the younger generation, the Society has conducted 32 different Exhibitions in past 14 years.

Worth mentioning are:

Conducted four Coinex – Pune exhibitions (Numismatic) out of that 1 was on a National Level Competitive exhibition. Society has formed the Marking System & Rules for competitive Numismatic Exhibitions, which are being followed almost every where. Displayed an almost complete history on Indian Paper Money.

Conducted three Stampex – Pune exhibitions (Philately) to promote the hobby among the young generation.

Displayed a full scale Natural History exhibition.

Displayed for the first time in India, a unique collection of Rare Minerals on Earth.

Society has decided to conduct Philatelic & Numismatic Exhibition every alternate year. Al our exhibitions are displayed without charging anything to the viewers, and have received praises from all segments of the society.

I.C.S.R.I. has decided to organize STAMPEX PUNE 2009, A National Stamps Fair from 30th, 31st October and 1st November 2009. The aim of the exhibition is to promote Philately and to make a platform available to Philatelist, Dealers & Investors on a National Level.

Display:

100 Frame competitive exhibition is organized as per the FIP guidelines. Invitee Class exhibits of famous Philatelist will be displayed. Adequate security arrangements will be provided for 24 Hrs. during the exhibition. However International Collectors’ Society of Rare Items & its members or organizers decline all responsibility in case of any loss, theft or damage due to any reason. Philatelists are advised to insure the exhibits.

Release of Souvenir having articles from renowned philatelist from India & Overseas.
Release of Booklets / Special Cover to commemorate STAMPEX PUNE 2009.
Life Time Achievement Awards to two eminent Philatelists.

Auction:

For the first time Stamps Auction on a National Level during Philatelic Exhibition to be conducted by OSWAL Antiques.

Dealers’ Booth Details:

Size of the booth will be 6.5Ft. X 6.0 Ft. (39 Sq. Ft.)
Layout of the booths is as per the plan shown in the diagram.
Booths will be allotted on first come first serve basis.
Organizers reserve the right to change the size and plan if required.
Rent per booth will be Rs.6000/-.
Rent for booth Nos. 11 & 14 will be Rs.12,000/- (78 Sq. Ft.).
Two Tables & Two chairs will be provided for each booth.
Breakfast, Tea & Lunch for two persons will be provided for all three days.
Half Page advertisement will be given in the Souvenir equals to Rs.1500/-.

No refund will be granted in case of Natural Calamities or unforeseen circumstances where exhibition is postponed or cancelled.
